Good Evening, Orange Nation! My name is Ryan Patel, and I will be one of four representatives from the Forever Orange Student Alumni Council taking over the OurSyracuseU account this week! I am a junior from Los Angeles, California with a major in Public Health on the Pre-Med track and minors in Chemistry and Biology. In addition to being a Forever Orange Student Alumni Council member, I am also a Peer Educator in the Office of Health Promotion, a Peer Mentor with the Office of Learning Communities, a University 100 Student Ambassador, a Falk College Ambassador, a Public Health researcher, and a volunteer at the University Hill hospitals. Throughout my time at Syracuse University, I’ve had the privilege of being a part of so many different experiences that have allowed me to be grateful of the education I am receiving here, as well as the people in my life that I’ve met along the way. Ever since freshman year during the Final Four to emceeing Own The Dome last semester, my time at Syracuse has been fun-filled and impactful in every way, and I couldn’t be happier. Keep an eye out for more updates! -R.P. #SyracuseU

Good Evening, Cuse Family! My name is Ryan Bolton, and I am a senior with a major in Computer Engineering from Atlanta, GA. As a Posse Scholar, I am incredibly thankful for the opportunities Syracuse has presented me with at such an amazing university. In addition to serving as a representative on the Forever Orange Student Alumni Council, I am the President of Black Legacy A Cappella group, as well as a member of Project G.R.I.N.D. Mentorship, Black Reign Step Team, and the National Society of Black Engineers. My most fulfilling roles have been serving as a College of Engineering Excelerator Ambassador, as well as a mentor for JUMPNation’s Leadership retreat for middle school students, as I aspire to give back as much as I can to a school and community that has given so much to me. Syracuse has truly allowed me to grow as an individual, and continues to do so each and every day. I wouldn’t trade my Cuse experience for anything in the world! -R.B. #SyracuseU
